Young Leaders (14 - 18 years old)

Young Leaders are one of the steps you can take after Scouts. This is where young people can volunteer within our sections to assist with planning and running meetings and further developing their leadership skills.

Many of our Young Leaders use this as an opportunity to work towards their Duke of Edinburgh award, whilst still being a part of Scouting. All of our sections are supported by Young Leaders.

Young Leaders have their own training programme, which consists of 11 modules covering programme planning, running activities, first aid, safeguarding and other areas. Alongside these modules are 4 missions where they get to put their training into practice by planning and running their own evenings and activities.
